Appraisal License Courses
Classes are held at the Arthur Gary School of Real Estate, 396 Cumberland Street, Westbrook or at the Greater Portland Board of REALTORS®, 2271 Congress Street, Portland, Maine if there is an * before the date.
In order to obtain a real estate appraisal license, the states of Maine and New Hampshire require the successful completion of 75 hours of AQB approved qualifying education. Fifteen hours of the required qualifying education must be an approved Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice course.
The minimum requirement to qualify for an appraiser trainee license is the successful completion of 75 classroom hours.
All Appraisal Courses are AQB approved.

Basic Appraisal Principles(1,2)

2008-2009 National USPAP (Uniform Standards Of Professional Appraisal Practice) Course
15 hours of qualifying education
Dates and Times:
Class is held 8:00am to 5:00pm the first day and 8:00am to 4:00pm the second day.
Program fee is $280.00. Includes USPAP Student Manual and USPAP Book.

15 hrs. of qualifying education and 14 hrs. of continuing education
