The word GREEN is the most overused word in real estate today. Consumers and licensees need to be educated on this concept because there are so many misconceptions and definitions of what is GREEN. The real estate licensee can be a reliable gatekeeper to the information and resources that consumers need in order to make decisions on GREEN new construction and GREEN remodeling when purchasing an existing house. This course is just an overview of the different elements that licensees need an awareness of. This course is approevd for 3 clock hours of continuing education by the Maine Real Estate Commission.
