Home Inspection Course

**Program fee is $1,195.00. This fee covers all necessary books and other materials and the “Registered Home Inspector” designation.

Special June Home Inspection Course $995.00.

The Home Inspection course will be held at 396 Cumberland Street, Westbrook, Maine.

Graduates of this course are awarded the “Registered Home Inspector” designation of the Home Inspection Institute, Inc. of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Prepare to provide home inspection services as a “Registered Home Inspector” by completing this 40 hour course designed to put you into the home inspection business within days of graduation.

This 40 hour "Registered Home Inspector" class includes:

• Tools needed by home inspectors and how to use them
• Home inspection techniques
• Fundamentals of residential construction
• Report writing with samples of professional reports
• Contracts and legal aspects of home inspection
• Hands on training with actual home inspections
• Getting started business strategies
• Marketing your home inspection business
• Standards of practice and ethics
• Books, sample reports, contracts, etc.

REFUND POLICY:
If a student cancels 5 days prior to the start of the Home Inspection Course, a refund will be issued. However, there will be an administration fee of $50.00 for any cancellations. Credit for a future Home Inspection Course will be given if cancelled less than 5 days prior to class. If you call to cancel the day of class or are a "no show/no call", no refund or credit will be given. Course fee is non-transferable to other course offerings. All credits must be used within 1 year.
