How can these issues be avoided in the first place? These and many more questions will be answered during this lively course. Topics to be covered will include confidentiality, disclosure of information the client has said not to disclose, advising your client, due diligence, and much more. This is an intermediate level course that uses class discussion and input. You do not have to have taken Transaction Troubleshooting to take this course. This course has been approved for three clock hours of continuing education by the Maine Real Estate Commission.

TRID and the New Disclosure

This course reviews the changes to federal RESPA regulations made in 2010 with respect to the diclosure of fees buyers pay when obtaining a federally related mortgage as a foundation to the 2015 changes. This course will also provide the agent with knowledge necessary to understand the changes in regulations that took effect October 3, 2015. Upon completion participants will be able to answer basic questions buyers may have with respect to the new regulations. Agents will also become aware of the procedures they need to implement in order to prepare their buyers and sellers for the changes. Understanding Older Housing

New England has some of the oldest housing stock in the nation. Buyers of houses in New England need to know the advantages and pitfalls of old houses if they are to make logical decisions about which house to buy.
